This self-portrait by Clifford Hall is entitled 'Myself in a Bad Mood'. It was painted in 1942. The artist had just lived through the horrors of the London Blitz in which he had served as an ARP stretcher bearer. This painting is in the Ruth Borchard Collection. Some of Clifford Hall's WW2 related paintings and drawings are in the collection of the Imperial War Museum, London.
